Japanese Government (MEXT)
The MEXT (Monbukagakusho) Scholarship is the Japanese Government's premier scholarship programme for international students. It covers tuition, living expenses, and travel for study at Japanese universities across all levels. Must be a citizen of an eligible country, meet age requirements (under 25 for undergraduate, under 35 for research), have strong academic record, be willing to learn Japanese, and be in good physical and mental health. Academic excellence, research potential, Japanese language ability (or willingness to learn), adaptability, health.
Full tuition exemption + JPY 143,000-145,000/month stipend + round-trip airfare
