Japanese Government (MEXT)
A specialised track of the MEXT (Monbukagakusho) Scholarship for education professionals. It supports teachers and educators from abroad to study at Japanese universities for 18 months, improving their teaching skills and knowledge of Japanese education. Must be an active teacher (minimum 5 years of experience), be a citizen of an eligible country, be under 35 years of age, hold a Bachelor's degree in education or a related field, and be willing to learn Japanese. Teaching experience, academic record, research plan quality, adaptability, potential to improve education in home country.
Full tuition exemption + JPY 143,000/month stipend + round-trip airfare
