• Usage data: how you interact with the platform, AI chat history, and saved matches.
• Device data: browser type, IP address, and approximate location for security purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve the Noletix platform and matching engine.
• Match you with relevant programs, scholarships, and funding opportunities.
• Power the Noletix Navigator AI advisor with your profile context.
• Send you notifications about your roadmap, saved matches, and account (with your consent).
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not share your profile with universities or scholarship organizations without your explicit consent.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure, hosted on AWS. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest for sensitive data. We limit access to your personal data to authorized staff who need it to operate the service.

While we take security seriously, no system is completely secure. Please use a strong, unique password and contact us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

5. AI and Automated Processing

The Noletix AI advisor uses your profile data to generate personalized guidance. Your conversation history and profile signals are processed by our AI systems. We use third-party AI providers (OpenAI, OpenRouter) who process data under their own privacy policies and data processing agreements with us.

AI responses are for informational guidance only and do not constitute official academic or legal advice.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your account and personal data.
• Portability: Request an export of your data in a readable format.
• Objection: Object to certain types of processing.
